Cellnex Board approves a new organisation to boost organic growth and operational efficiency

The new structure will streamline governance and enhance coordination

The approved reorganisation is aligned with the evolution of the operating model towards a strategy centred on organic growth

 

Madrid/Barcelona, 3 February 2026 The Board of Directors of Cellnex has today approved the new organisational structure presented by the CEO, Marco Patuano, designed to support the Groups evolution towards a phase of greater strategic focus, operational efficiency and organic growth.

The new organisation responds to the need to simplify the model and strengthen major functional and business blocks. This approach will enable the CEO to concentrate on the highest impact strategic priorities.

The structure is built around four major corporate functions, five business lines:

Corporate functions

  • Finance, Control and Procurement (CFO) – Raimon Trias.
  • Operations (COO) – Simone Battiferri.
  • Strategy (CSO) – Vincent Cuvillier.
  • Corporate Affairs – Xavier Pujol, who will maintain the function of Secretary General and of the Board.

Corporate Affairs will include the functional areas of People, Communications and Public Affairs, Regulatory and European Affairs, Legal and Compliance.

Business lines

The new operating model is organised with a mix of geographical clusters, maintaining proximity to markets and customers, and on a new Vertical Solution business unit. The heads of the geographic clusters are:

  • France – Thomas Bertrand.
  • Alpine (Italy and Switzerland) – Federico Protto.
  • Iberia (Spain and Portugal) – Alfonso lvarez.
  • Northern Europe (United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Sweden, Denmark and Poland) – Nuno Carvalhosa.

The Vertical Solutions business unit will operate as a pan-European business line under the responsibility of Gianluca Landolina, combining centralized governance with local execution.

Executive Committee

The Executive Committee will be composed of ten members, led by the CEO, and including the head of the four corporate functions, and the five business lines.

An organisation ready for the future

According to Marco Patuano, CEO of Cellnex, we have completed the second chapter of Cellnex, a chapter of financial and operational consolidation following a first phase of intense inorganic growth. This new structure strengthens our execution capabilities, improves efficiency and places us in an excellent position to address the challenges and opportunities that will arise in the future.
