Thanksgiving meal deals drop at Target, Walmart, more. See list.

With Thanksgiving less than two weeks away on Thursday, Nov. 27, families across the U.S. are planning celebrations big and small, finding out which grocery stores have the best deals on turkeys, stuffing, and other Turkey Day must-haves.

Since early November, businesses have been announcing Thanksgiving plans, letting customers know what Thanksgiving bundles cost in stores or families ranging from four to as many as 10.

Among the first to announce their bundle price points were Aldi, Walmart, Dollar General, Target, and Lidl. At Lidl, customers can get a turkey, jellied cranberry sauce, and more for less than $36, while Target customers can feed a family of four for less than $20, the companies said.

Lidl Thanksgiving bundle: Feed 10 for less than $36

Lidl was among the first stores to announce Thanksgiving plans for those planning this holiday season. According to the discount grocery store chain, this year’s Thanksgiving meal can feed 10 people for less than $36, or less than $3.60 per person. 

Lidl’s Thanksgiving bundles cost less than $45 in 2024, less than $30 in 2023, and less than $30 in 2022.

Target Thanksgiving deal: Feed 4 for less than $20

At Target, customers can expect to pay less than $20 for fixins’ that’ll feed a family of four, the company said online. Target said in early November that this year’s Thanksgiving dinner cost is its “lowest price ever”.

The Thanksgiving bundle deal is available for shoppers everywhere except Alaska and Hawaii.

Target said that for less than $20, customers can feed four people with:

  • Good & Gather Premium Basted Young Turkey (Frozen, up to 10 lb.)
  • Good & Gather Russet Potatoes (5 lb. bag) 
  • Ocean Spray Jellied Cranberry Sauce (14 oz.) 
  • Stove Top Stuffing Mix (6 oz.) 
  • Heinz Home Style Roasted Turkey Gravy (12 oz.) 
  • Favorite Day Soft French Bread 
  • Good & Gather Frozen Corn

Target said it is also offering seasonal pies for $4.99, as well as seasonal decorative items, ceramics, and glassware for less than $20.

Walmart’s holiday meal basket: Feed 10 for $39.93

Tricia Moriarty, a Walmart spokesperson, told USA TODAY that this year’s holiday meal basket is $39.93 for a family of 10. That’s food for 10 people for less than $4 per person, and more than 25% cheaper than last year’s basket.

According to Moriarty, the meal includes national and private brands, and will be available until Christmas Day. 

The basket has consistently decreased in cost over the past few years. The basket was $54.46 in 2024, $79.65 in 2023, and $82.58 in 2022, she said.

Walmart added on its website that the Butterball turkey in the meal basket costs 97 cents per pound, the lowest price since 2019.

Walmart said it is also offering free express delivery for first-time pickup and delivery customers. The company is also working with the Salvation Army to help families in need, so when buying items for their Thanksgiving meals online, customers can add donations at checkout. Walmart said that until Christmas Eve, the company will match donations up to $500,000 made through the one-click donation webpage.

To make it easier for customers to shop, Walmart has created a one-click shopping list for the retailer’s Thanksgiving basket, gluten-free Thanksgiving meal, prime rib meal basket, and balanced Thanksgiving meal made with high-protein ingredients like cauliflower mashed potatoes.

Stop & Shop Thanksgiving: Feed 10 people for under $40

Elsewhere in the U.S., Stop & Shop said customers can feed 10 people for under $40 this Thanksgiving. The grocery store chain said in a press release that prices will be locked in between Nov. 14 and Nov. 27.

Roger Wheeler, President of Stop & Shop, said in the press release that the company listened to shoppers to find out what they want and need.

This year’s Thanksgiving bundle at Stop & Shop includes:

  • One 10-pound Shady Brook Farms Frozen Turkey
  • One 16-ounce package Stop & Shop Dinner Rolls
  • Two 12-ounce jars of Heinz Gravy
  • Two packages of Stove Top Stuffing
  • Two cans of Del Monte Vegetables
  • Two packages of Stop & Shop Microwavable Mashed Potatoes
  • One Reser’s Holiday Side
  • One can of Cranberry Sauce
  • One carton of Swanson Broth or Stock
  • One container of Cool Whip
  • One 8-inch Fresh Bakery Traditional Pumpkin Pie

Stop & Shop said it will match turkey prices from competitors. Customers just have to bring in their ads, the company said. The grocer carries turkeys from brands such as Shady Brook Farms, Butterball, Nature’s Promise, Nature’s Promise Organic, Nature’s Promise Brined, Bell & Evans, and Empire Kosher Poultry. There is a limit to two turkeys per customer and the offer is valid between Nov. 14 and Nov. 27.

The company said it also has an option for those who want to celebrate the holidays but don’t want to cook. The grocer will sell a limited time only prepared Thanksgiving plate. The plate, a prepackaged 12-ounce meal, includes turkey, gravy, mashed potatoes, stuffing, and corn for $7.99.

Customers get $5 off when they buy any four Reser’s holiday sides, including sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes, homestyle stuffing, or green bean casserole, and Stop & Shop pies. The deal will run from Nov. 7 to Jan. 1. 

Customers who check in at the company’s Savings Station Kiosk between Nov. 14 and Nov. 20 will get one free liter of Stop & Shop Seltzer Water of any flavor.

Food Lion Thanksgiving: Feed 10 for less than $40

At Food Lion, customers can expect to pay less than $40 for a Thanksgiving feast for 10 people. The prices will be locked in from Nov. 12 to Nov. 27, the company said in a press release.

The 2025 Food Lion Thanksgiving meal Includes:

  • One frozen turkey (14 pounds)
  • Two cans of Green Giant Corn (15 ounces)
  • Two cans of Green Giant Green Beans (14 ounces)
  • One can of Campbell’s Cream of Mushroom Soup (10 ounces)
  • One bag of Food Lion French Fried Onions (6 ounces)
  • Two boxes of Stove Top Stuffing Mix (6 ounces)
  • Two boxes of Food Lion Deluxe Macaroni & Cheese (14 ounces)
  • One bag of fresh cranberries (12 ounces)
  • One bag of sweet potatoes (4 pounds)
  • Two packets of Food Lion Turkey Gravy Mix (12 ounces)
  • One pack of Swanson Chicken Broth (32 ounces)
  • One pack of Food Lion Hawaiian Rolls (12 count)
  • Two frozen Mrs. Smith’s pies (35 ounces)

Aldi Thanksgiving: Feed 10 for $40

At Aldi, this year’s bundle for a family of 10 costs $40, the company said in a press release. That’s $7 less than last year’s deal, Aldi said. This year’s prices will be valid until Dec. 24, Aldi said.

Aldi’s previous efforts to keep the Thanksgiving holidays budget-friendly included matching 2019 prices in 2022, and allowing customers to save up to 50% in 2023.

The list includes over 20 items, including:

Amazon Thanksgiving: Feed 5 for $25

Amazon said in a press release that between Nov. 12 and Nov. 27, customers can buy enough ingredients to feed families of five for $25 through Amazon’s Same-Day Delivery in eligible locations or online and in-store at Amazon Fresh.

The bundle includes a Butterball frozen turkey, as well as pre-made side dishes from Reser’s including homestyle stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, green bean casserole, cranberry relish, Amazon Grocery crescent rolls, and a holiday pie from select national brands. 

Amazon said there will also be pre-made pies under $7 from select national brands and Amazon Grocery, 25% or more off baking essentials from Amazon Grocery, Amazon Saver, Aplenty, and 365 by Whole Foods Market.

At Whole Foods Market, Prime members can buy 365 by Whole Foods Market turkeys at $1.49 a pound for frozen items and $2.99 a pound for organic items through Dec. 24. Prime members can also get 20% off six or more 750 milliliter bottles of wine at Amazon Fresh online and in-store through Nov. 30.

Amazon added that Prime members have access to an unlimited delivery subscription on orders $25 or more at Whole Foods Market, Amazon Fresh, and other local retailers for $9.99 a month or $99.99 a year.

Kroger Thanksgiving bundle: $4.75 per person for 10

At Kroger, the Thanksgiving bundle totals $47.50 this year, or $4.75 per person for 10 people. Kroger’s Freshgiving meal bundle includes lots of Kroger brand items such as Kroger frozen turkeys and stuffing.

Pricing starts on Nov. 12, and the full Freshgiving Meal Bundle includes:

  • Kroger Whole Frozen Turkey (14 to 16 pounds)
  • Kroger Turkey Stuffing
  • Kroger Chicken Broth
  • Kroger Super Sweet Corn
  • Kroger Baby Carrots
  • Kroger Whole Berry Cranberry Sauce

  • Kroger Idaho Potatoes

Other deals include Heinz Gravy (two for $4), Cool Whip (two for $4), Kroger Cut Sweet Jewel and Yams in Syrup (two for $6). 

Kroger said that until Jan. 1, customers can also round up their purchases to the nearest dollar and donations will benefit local hunger relief organizations. 

Dollar General Thanksgiving: Customers can bundle based on recipes

Dollar General said in a press release in mid-October that customers will be able to purchase recipe-specific bundles for Thanksgiving 2025.

Each bundle will give customers ingredients they need to make a holiday side dish or dessert that serves 4 to 6 people, Katie Ellison, Director of Public Relations at Dollar General, told USA TODAY on Nov. 10.

Dollar General bundles will be on sale until Nov. 29 and include:

  • Buy Bruce’s Yams Cut Sweet Potatoes and Clover Valley Light Brown Sugar, Get free Jet-Puffed Marshmallows
  • Buy Campbell’s Cream of Mushroom Soup and French’s Original Crispy Fried Onions, Get free Clover Valley Green Beans
  • Buy Keebler Graham Ready Crust and Nestlé Carnation Evaporated Milk, Get free Clover Valley Pumpkin

The discount grocer and home goods store will also offer a rotating schedule of price cuts across more than 15 food categories.

Price reductions include:

  • Oct. 5 to Nov. 22 – Betty Crocker Super Moist cake mixes and Betty Crocker Frosting: 2 for $3.50 
  • Oct. 26 to Nov. 29 – Save $2 when you spend $6 on Kraft-Heinz baking products, including Jell-O, Jet-Puffed and Baker’s Angel Flake Coconut and Kraft Caramels 
  • Nov. 2 to Dec. 20 – Heinz Gravy and Stove Top Stuffing: Mix & Match 2 for $4 
  • Nov. 16 to Dec. 27 – Eagle Brand Sweetened Condensed Milk: 2 for $5 
  • Nov. 23 to Dec. 20 – Buy Betty Crocker Frosting, get a Betty Crocker cake mix for $1
  • Nov. 16 to Dec. 27 – Hershey’s Cocoa, Milk Chocolate Chips, and Reese’s Baking Chips:  On sale for $3.50 

And from Nov. 9 through Dec. 25, customers can save $5 when they spend $15 on select holiday baking and food items. 

Sam’s Club Thanksgiving: Feed 10 people for less than $100

Sam’s Club is selling pre-made, ready-to-eat Thanksgiving dishes this year that’ll feed 10 people for under $100.

Previous Thanksgiving bundles at Sam’s Club were priced at:

Suzanne Jervis, Senior Director of Consumer and Sensory Insights said in a statement that Sam’s Club’s ready-to-serve Thanksgiving is a “convenient, high-quality feast at a great value.”

This year, Sam’s Club has added three items, including the Member’s Mark green beans with cranberries and sliced almonds, Member’s Mark garlic herb corn, and Member’s Mark harvest salad. The company also said it adjusted its Sweet Potato Mash recipe, and the dish now has richer flavor and smoother texture based on customer feedback.

The 2025 Member’s Mark Thanksgiving Feast includes:

  • Member’s Mark Smoked Turkey
  • Member’s Mark Yukon Gold Mashed Potatoes
  • Member’s Mark Macaroni and Cheese

Fresh Market Thanksgiving: Multiple meal options

The Fresh Market has meal tiers that serve smaller groups and larger ones, the company told USA TODAY. There are essential meals that serve three to five people, traditional meals that serve 8 to 10 people, and ultimate meals that serve 12 to 14 people.

There are over five holiday meals ranging in cost from $19.99 to $189.99, and the retailer said prices have been “relatively fixed” for the past few years.

The company said its traditional meals were previously $99 but are now priced at $109. The Fresh Market’s Ultimate Holiday Meal was $179.99 in 2022, but has sold for $189.99 since 2023 with Ultimate Loyalty Experience memberships.

The company told USA TODAY that one of the grocer’s most popular meals is the Ultimate Ham & Turkey meal.

The Ultimate Ham & Turkey meal can feed 12 to 14 people, costs $189.99, and includes:

  • Fully Cooked Turkey (10 to 12 pounds)
  • Boneless Sliced Ham (3½ pounds)
  • Yukon Gold Whipped Potatoes (6 pounds)
  • Traditional Herb Stuffing (3 pounds)
